MISTAMINA PRESS LUNCH AT SYON HOUSE
To celebrate the launch of Mistamina’s second collection, I invited members of the press to join me for an intimate press lunch in the Great Conservatory at Syon House.
It was a beautiful and crisp Autumnal day at the start of October, we started the day with two photoshoots in the morning in the grounds of Syon. The weather was absolutely perfect for this, with clear skies forming the perfect backdrop for the photoshoots.
As guests arrived at lunchtime, we gathered under the main dome in the Great Conservatory and enjoyed a glass of chilled English sparkling, Nyetimber.
The table was set with gorgeous burnt orange and red flowers which complemented the vibrancy of the new collection of jumpers perfectly.
We enjoyed a light lunch of mallard and chervil puree with duck leg croquettes, served by the brilliant Taste Creative caterers. This was followed by a quick walk around the grounds, in order to have one last chance to soak up the sunshine before the depths of winter set in!
Having walked off our lunch we returned to the conservatory and were welcomed back to an afternoon tea of scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam.
I was then delighted to run through the latest pieces from my second collection, telling the story behind each of the designs, why I started up Mistamina, the inspiration behind the brand and of course, stories of the dogs the jumpers are named after!
